Obituary of Dixie Lee Bray

Please share a memory of Dixie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bray: Dixie Lee Marie At the age of 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2014. She will be lovingly remembered for her spunky personality, inner strength, positive attitude, kind heart...and her heels (an outfit is never complete without them). Dixie was a "cool and stylin" grandmother who was young at heart, nothing seemed to shock her. She accepted everyone that she met without question or judgement; everyone was "honey" and everyone deserved a smile and a bit of kindness. Dixie will be forever missed and live on in the hearts of her children Heather (Joe Bovey), Michael (Tina Lloyd) and William; her grandchildren Emily (Dan Bernardino), Chelsea (Sean Langdown), Jody, Shannon (Vaughn McLean), Payton, Heather, Owen and Carmen; her great grandson Oliver; and her sister Ellie Nelson. Dixie was predeceased by her loving friend of 10 years, Marcel Lacroix. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many, many friends. Dixie will be thrilled to meet "the love of her life", her late husband, Walter Bray and their sweet baby boy, Walter Jr., once again. A Celebration of Life at the Gananoque Golf and Country Club Saturday July 19 from 2 - 5 pm with commencement of golf season. Donations can be made in the name of Dixie to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Arthritis Society.
