Obituary of Gerald Latimer

Latimer: Gerald WW2 Veteran Retired Stelco Employee Peacefully at the Carveth Care Centre on Wednesday April 30, 2008. Beloved husband of Ila Horton of 53 years. Loving father of Gerry (Barb), and Barry (Pat). Cherished grandfather of Kenny (Michelle), Christopher (Lauren), Robbie and Heather. Great grandfather of Brayden and Chelsea. Dear brother of Ronald (Marj) and Wayne (Marilyn). Predeceased by 1 brother Murray. Will be remembered by sister in law Edna Latimer. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Friday evening from 7-9 pm. Saturday from 10:00 until 11:00 am. Funeral Service will be held in our chapel on Saturday May 3 at 11:00 am. Interment Gananoque Cemetery. Donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A Legion Service will be held in the funeral home Friday evening at 6:30.
