Obituary of William Aird

Aird: William McFarlane Suddenly in his eighty-first year in the Garden of his home in Gananoque on Wednesday April 30th 2008. Beloved and cherished husband of Ella Bennett and the late Margaret Aird. Beloved father of Billy (Elaine), Michael and Rebecca (Anthony) and step father of Tracie Bennett. Beloved grandfather of David, Brianna, Maxine and Rowan. Survived by brother Peter (Calista) Aird and sister Marjorie (Roy) Smith. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Friday May 9 form 7-9 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held in our chapel on Saturday May 10th at 1:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the S.O.S Children's Villages Canada 200-244 Rideau Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1N 5Y3 would be appreciated by the family.
