Just a little note to give my condolences to the entire family of Margaret Lewis. What a wonderful lady! I spent many many Friday mornings with Margaret. I always enjoyed her stories and her laughter and her no nonsense way of looking at life. She will be missed very much, but never ever forgotten. Jennifer.

I got to know Margaret at Carveth, and enjoyed chatting with her on many occasions. It turned out that she and my Mom had been in the WRNS in Halifax at the same time, though they hadn't known one another. She was a lovely, stylish lady and I really enjoyed getting to know her over the last year and a half. I am so sorry for your loss.

Patty I remember the great birthday parties your mom had for you. Chips, hotdogs and all those fun games. Every Halloween she would save those special candy apples for those girls on Oak street.Such great memories of your mom she was a special lady.

The first time I met your mum was when I was seven and going to Sunday School. I can honestly say that I have never met such an extrodanary person. She was so full of life, funny and said it like it was. She made me feel special each and every time I ran into her over the years. I'm sure she is kicking up her heels as she enters her new afterlife. My heartfelt condolences to all her family as she will be greatly missed.

Farewell to a grand, classy lady. In the four years I knew her at Carveth, she was unfailingly kind and always cheerful. And with her wonderful sense of humour, she often had us laughing. When my Mom was failing, only last December, she shared words of comfort and support. She will be deeply missed. God bless, Margaret.
