I remember one time when our family went over to your house and I saw a big scar on your arm and asked you where you got it and gave me a smile and said let me tell you the wild story how I got this. You told this amazing story about how you were being chased by bad guys for your life and how you had to fight them off to save yourself and had put your hands up to your face and your arm was cut. Being the younger cousin I thought you were amazing and a hero to have survived such crazy ordeal. Years later I found out that you did not get that scar from running from bad guys, but a much simpler reason. I will always remember how you made us all laugh with your wild stories. Those were fun times. Rest in peace Eric, and I hope you have met with the rest of the clan in the hear after. Heather

To the fondness we've found in our childhood memories, they will always remain. In the trust and hope of a new world without suffering and death. I will always remember you my dear cousin, with fondness and with love. Your journey is over cousin, though you remain in the thoughts and hearts of those you have left behind. My deepest heartfelt love is for all of those family members whose journey in life still continues. Jesus wept for Lazarus and I now weep for you Cousin Eric... Your cousin always, Bobby.
