I so much wanted to go to Susan's funeral but unfortunately the weatherman thought otherwise. I didn't see a whole pile of Susan, but whenever we did get together I always felt she was so courageous and her smile lit up the whole room. I will always be sorry that we didn't get our game of golf in last year - had planned on doing it this year but it was not meant to be.

Cher Robert.

I wish I could have been there with Susie more and been there with everyone for the service. She was the coolest Aunt that anybody could have wished for. I always wanted to be like my Auntie Susie. Since I couldn't be there in space I was in time. I went to a beautiful lookout that overlooks the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn, the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sophia. She would have liked that spot, one of the prettiest in Istanbul. I started my own ceremony at 9pm, 2pm Ontario time, and lit a candle I got from the Catholic church across from work. So I sat with the candle and thought about Susie and my family. Take care, my heart is with you. Steph XOXOXOXOOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOOXOXOX

Dear Bob, Although we have not been in touch these last few years and many changes have taken place in our lives I want you to know that you and Susie have continued to be in my mind and heart. I have great memories of times spent together and I will always remember Susie's youthfulness, her enthusiasm for life, her generosity of heart and her love of music and home and you. The happiness she brought into peoples lives will keep her close to all those she cared for. With love, Veronica

Dear Robert, I was so sorry to hear that you have lost your dear Sue; you have been through just as much as she has, and more. We enjoyed having her with us in our support group at Harrowsmith, and will miss her. Three of us, from the group, were planning to come to the visitation, but we live north of Kingston and the weather tells us to stay home today.

To my dear Sue, Robert and her family. My Little Angel By Krystal Morgan Friends, Please don't be so sad, I miss you so much too. It's beautiful here where I am, but I worry a lot about you. I sleep with the angels watching over me. There's only love up here. I'm never lonely or afraid 'cause God's so very near. I walk with Jesus every day. He's very kind and sweet. Don't worry mommy he holds my hand when we cross the golden street. I never cry or hurt myself. I see our family every day. I play, laugh, and sing a lot. I hear you when you pray, Friends. Please don't be mad at God you see... He loves me, too. Even though your not with me I'm really still with you....... Love forever, laugh forever, I love you. Karl

Dear Robert, family and friends, Susan was a very special friends to us. Who could not love her? There are some people in live that are special in their own ways and everybody seems to like them immediately. In our opinion Susan was one of them. She was a very likable person, full of positive energy, smart, a big heart and a spiritual soul. We loved her energy, her smile and her jokes. We really spent good times together incl. some good parties. What else can we say! We will all miss her and her memory will continue giving us strength while living our live. Let us all appreciate every day of our live because we know Susan did. Frank and Simone

Dear Robert and family. I received this beautiful poem as you remember from Sue on my 40th birthday in 2007 that was printed on the glorious winter lake backdrop of Howe Island it reads: Faith When you have come to the edge, of all light that you know, and are about to step off into the darkness of the unknown. Faith... is knowing one of two things will happen, there will be something solid to stand on OR.....you will be taught to fly. I hope this gift of words gives you as much comfort as it does me. Sue's beautiful spirit will live on within us. Our deepest sympathies to you Rob and the family.
