Obituary of Velma Turner

Turner: Velma Doris Passed away at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday November 26, 2013 at the age of 86. Velma Leeder, beloved wife of the late Joseph Turner. Loving mother of Mary Jane Pilon (Richard), Irene Stevens (Terry Haird), Brian Turner (Debbie) and Art Turner (Nancy). Cherished grandmother of Karen, Marian, Michael, Angie, Ryan, Caitlin, Brent, John, Katlyn and Betsy. Lovingly remembered by 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Russell, Ted, Everett, Borden, Grant and Berneta Turner. Predeceased by 3 sisters Peggy Hall, Evelyn Sheffield and David Leeder, 4 brother in laws Patrick Turner, Bernie Turner, Fred Hall and Dick Sheffield, and by 1 sister in law Margaret Hammond. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service in our chapel at 12:00 pm. Interment St. James Cemetery Bally Canoe. In lieu of flowers donations made to the KGH Foundation or to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
