Obituary of Joyce Nicholl-Carne

Nicholl-Carne: Frances Joyce (nee Corriveau) Passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 bound by the love of her family. Joyce is predeceased by Dev (2004), her husband of 56 years, and is remembered lovingly by the family she devoted her life to: her children Barry (Tammy), Catherine (Peter Hopley) and Michael (Cynthia), her sister Carol Kirkpatrick (Emmett) and her family. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter will deeply miss their granny. Joyce struggled quietly and without complaint with Parkinson's disease for over 20 years - a true testament to her strength and fortitude. Joyce spent her final years at Carveth Nursing Home, and the family very much appreciates the entire staff and their efforts in making Joyce's final journey so peaceful and dignified. Joyce was a loyal animal lover, and the family would like any well wishes to be presented as donations to the Gananoque Humane Society. Cremation, with interment at a later date. A family celebration to commemorate Joyce's life will be held in the coming weeks. Our family has lost our matriarch, and she will be greatly missed by us all.
