ARMSTRONG, Helen Roberta (nee Halliday) - Life long resident of Gananoque, peacefully at Brockville General Hospital, following a long illness, on Saturday, March 1st in her 81st year. Predeceased by husbands Reginald George Watkins and William Ray Armstrong and mother, Myrtle (nee Bolton) Halliday and father Harold Gordon Halliday. Survived by cousin Joan (nee Shaw) Horton (Donald) and family; niece Karen Douglas (Wayne) and family; brothers-in-law Ronald (Audrey) Watkins; Denis Watkins; and, sister-in-law Frances (Bill) Byrne. Friends will be received at the TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 63 Garden Street, Gananoque on Tuesday, March 4, from 6:00 p.m. until time of service in the chapel at 7:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Calvary Pentecostal Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
