Obituary of Parnell Gifford

Gifford: Parnell Peacefully with family by her side after a brief illness at the Kingston General Hospital on Sunday December 18, 2011 at the age of 76. Parnell Donnelly, beloved wife of the late William Gifford. Loving mother of William J. (Kim) and Penny Huntley (Ian). Cherished grandmother of Danika, Liam and Elizabeth. Dear sister of Margaret Guild and Mary Desmarais (Paul). Sister in law of Teresa Donnelly. Predeceased by 1 brother Jim Donnelly. Will be lovingly remembered by her companion LeRoy Horton. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Pat's Church Lansdowne, on Wednesday at 11:00 am. Rite of Committal, St. Pat's cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
