Maria and Family, Words cannot explain the sorrow we felt today when we found out about Jim's passing. We hope and pray that you are finding comfort in knowing the many lives Jim has touched. I spent a lot of time today reminiscing about the times we shared throughout the years. Trying to find words to explain him was simple. Jim was a man’s man. He was a generous and charismatic person with a motor that ran 100mph 100% of the time. We are all better people for knowing Jim, but there will now be a huge void left because he was one of a kind. I have known Jim for many years but there were often periods of time that I did not see him. But no matter how much time had passed, when he saw me he always made me feel special. He would go out of his way to greet me and ask how I was doing. And he was genuinely interested. This was how he treated all his friends. He never lost that charm and magnetic personality. We were very sad to hear about Jim's death. Though it had been a number of years since we had seen Jim, we knew him back in the late 70s and early 80s in his skeet shooting years. He and his fellow Canadians would come to Ilion, Rochester, Lewiston and Alex. Bay to shoot registered tournaments...he was always full of fun and a real competitor. We loved seeing the picture of him with his friends and trophies wearing his old KOLAR TUBES hat - that's the Jim we remember!! We have known Jim for over 10 years. We first met Jim at the World of Concrete. He was the nicest, friendliest, and fun loving guy that we had ever met. He was filled with knowledge and knew his business like no one else. He inspired us to change so many things in our life concerning business and using IntegraSpec. He took every call and email we sent no matter how busy he was and always gave us the best advise and direction and assistance at any time. Every year we looked so forward to seeing Jim out at the World of Concrete to discuss our business and share our personal life together, and play blackjack. He was kind, funny, and just a fantastic person. He was truly one of the best people that we have ever known. We were proud to count him among our closest friends. We will miss Jim so very much and the world will be a sadder place since he is no longer with us. Maria and family, we are so sorry to hear of this. I have regularly spoken with Jim and received his support through several career changes. I have wonderful memories of visiting Jim and Maria at their home when I was a little girl with my mom, Dad and brother. Jim was such a big joker and would always make me and my brother laugh. We sure though he was the funniest guy around!! R.I.P. Jimmy!! You will be greatly missed.

Jim and I graduated Queens Commerce 1976. I only got to know Jim when I moved back to Howe Island in 2010. He was a generous and gregarious man. I always enjoyed my time with Jim.
