I will never forget when my family first met Tony and Ethel during Parent's Weekend at Villanova. Pam and I had become great friends as floor-mates in our dorm and we were excited for our families to meet. My grandfather brought some delicious Asiago cheese and wine and we all met in one of the hotel rooms for happy hour. We knew from that moment on that our families were "kindred spirits" and would always be connected. When Pam was married, my grandparents were invited to the wedding and became fast friends with one of Tony's colleagues from Asia. They became pen pals long after the wedding was over! My grandparents always loved Tony and Ethel, and I am comforted knowing that Ethel is reunited with them in heaven and hopefully sharing some delicious wine and cheese (and perhaps a cigarette or two). The LoCascio and Lardiere families will never forget our wonderful memories of Ethel.

Mr. Salter, Karen, Pam, Cheryl & Family, My sincerest condolences on the passing of Mrs. Salter. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her - especially her daughters & grandchildren. When I think about Karen's Mom, the first thing that popped into my mind was her amazing artistic abilities!!! Karen has some fantastic pieces (a cutting board, a gorgeous painted mailbox, a wooden raccoon sign outside to name a few). I always admired those works of art. Whenever I'd ask Karen where she got a piece, she would proudly answer: "my Mom made it!". She was truly talented. I will also remember her charm, sense of style and classy demeanor - something that all 3 of her daughters inherited. I'm deeply saddened by the suddenness of her passing - death came like a thief in the night. Please know that you are all in my prayers during this difficult time. May her memory bring you comfort as you remember the amazing life she led. With Sympathy, Elizabeth Baresh & Family (Lake Arrowhead / Denville, NJ)

Ethel will always be a part of who I am. She taught me so much over the 27 years she was my second mama - from cleaning with ammonia, playing eucher (actually I still don't know how to play that), how many ice cubes to put in my wine glass & best of all how to be a loving caring amazingly strong talented woman. Every time I say "eh" or "aboot" I will remember how special she was to me.
