BRENNAN, ERIC AUGUSTUS (WWII Veteran RCN) April 05 1922 - May 24 2013 Peacefully after a brief illness at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday, May 24 2013 in his 92nd year. Son of the late Louis Brennan and Elmira Mills. Predeceased by his loving wives Penny (Robinson) in 1988 and Verna (Cornforth Sharpe) in 2013. Dear father of Lenore, Nadine Tate (Bob) and Bruce (Sandra). Proud Grandfather of Stacy Renwick (Randy), Sara Earl (Kevin), Suzi Watkins (Terry), Cassandra and Craig Brennan. Great Grandfather of Alex & Zachary Renwick; Cody & Chelsea Earl; and Vaida Watkins. Also survived by step children Diane Heward (Tom), Deborah Stewart (Bill), David Sharpe (Mary Lee), Darlene Lebrun (Gerald), Al Sharpe (Wanda) and their respective children and grandchildren.Predeceased by his siblings Keith, Dorothy Beaubiah (Ken), Alex (Bernice) and Eunice Carr (Gerald). Family and friends may visit Tompkins Funeral Home, Garden Street, Gananoque, ON. Monday, May 27 2013 between 2 - 4 PM and 7 - 9 PM. A celebration of Eric's Life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, May 28 2013 at 11:00 AM. Internment Gananoque Cemetery followed by a reception at the Gananoque Legion. A legion service will be held on Monday evening at 6:45.
