Basten: Tristan Seth

Passed away at the Brockville General Hospital on Friday June 9, 2023 at the age of 24. Much loved son of Noah Basten and Melissa Berry. Cherished grandson of Chris and Tracy Basten and Laurie Berry. Dear nephew of Nicole Basten, Megan and Moe Ali and Dustin Webb.

There will be a farewell vigil held on July 8  at 114 Hellen St. Seeleys’s Bay from  2pm - 4pm for friends and family of all ages to show their love for the truly one of a kind character that was Tristan Basten.

At dusk, all are invited to return for a (modified) Viking long boat send off to Valhalla. If you have any trinkets you wish to include as an offering to Tristan in this boat burning tradition, you are welcome, but not required to, sacrifice them in the ceremony as well. Afterwards, keeping true Viking tradition, there will be a celebration of life bash not suitable for children. All are encouraged to freely partake in the barrels of mead and music. A light meal will be provided. Please join us, to share your memories of everyone’s favorite comedian. For those of you who attend in support of Tristan’s loved ones and never had the actual privilege to know this remarkable soul, you are welcomed to get to know him now through our mostly hilarious stories.
