Jones: Shirley Elizabeth (nee Truesdell) May 31, 1926 - November 13, 2011 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Shirley Elizabeth with family by her side. Dear wife of the late Stan Jones. Loving and devoted mother of Shirley Ann Robinson (nee Clark) (Wally) and Cindy Nicholl-Carne (nee Clark) (Mike). Step mother of Vivienne White (Rick) and Stephen Jones. Cherished Nana to Caity Robinson, Courtney Robinson, Stephanie Scott (Chris) and Lesley White. Respected aunt to Sharon Sawyer (Tom), Wayne Truesdell (Pam), Peter Woodley (Karen) and Elizabeth Carpenter. Great Nana to Olivia Scott, Daniel Scott and Vaughn Woodman. Predeceased by daughter Jeanne Wood (nee Clark), her parents Lottie and Peter Truesdell, brothers Jack and Gordon Truesdell, sisters Barbara Carpenter and Marjorie Woodley. She will be truly missed by her family. But it is with thankful hearts that she was able to live on her own to the end and that she died with dignity and grace she so deserved. A Celebration of Shirley's life will be held on Saturday December 10 from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at the Glen House Resort. Donations made to the Gananoque Food Bank in Shirley's memory would be appreciated by the family.
