Passed away at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Monday April 24, 2023 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of 68 years to Jane (nee Hunt). Much loved father of Michael (Sherry), Bob (Paula), Cathy (John) and Tim (Joanne). Cherished grandfather of Samantha (Dan), Matthew (Lindsey), Alex (Josh), Holly (Tyler), Mason (Allie). Predeceased by a daughter in infancy, grandson Ryan Mangan and son in law William Running. Will be lovingly remembered by his great grandchildren. Dear brother of Eleanor Fahey (Joe) and Marie Murphy (Ed). Predeceased by brother Arnold and by Sister Marilyn. Survived by sister-in-law Theresa. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Neil enjoyed his whole life being involved with livestock and having a successful dairy business. He 'loved his cows', especially the black and white ones. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Sunday April 30 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday May 1 at 11:00 am from St. Barnaby’s Church Brewers Mills. Rite of committal St. Barnaby’s cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations made to the St. Joseph’s School Breakfast Club or to St. Barnaby’s Church Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family.
