I was so sorry to learn of Joy's passing. Memories of our high school days together still bring a smile. In these last years we reunited on FB and again shared memories and special occasions.
Joy was a wonderful woman.

Sincere condolences to the family. My fond memories of Joy evolve around curling. Not as a curler but as a curling supporter. She was always at the clubs cheering on her favourite curler (Glen) and other Gananoque players. She was a faithful volunteer in the kitchen working side by side with my mother Joyce Clare at curling events. We shared many stories and good times. Joy will be sadly missed.

Joy was JOY, always present for everyone around her, particularly her family as demonstrated over the years attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events cheering them on throughout their ups and downs. I remember Joy’s moto whenever asked “dinner out, boat ride, NYE, trip to NYC, Caribbean, Mexico......SURE”, with little or no hesitation.
It was a pleasure to know Joy and spend so many precious hours with her and her family over the years, she will never be forgotten, often remembered.

It was such a pleasure to become friends with Joy starting ceramic classes in her home back in 1978 and then sitting and enjoying conversation at the curling club while Glen was curling. My deepest sympathy to your families as Joy was such an amazing lady .
