Irwin: Donald Leon “Choppie”

Peacefully in his sleep at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday October 18, 2022 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of 50 years to Jewel Irwin (nee Burtch). Much loved father of Mary DeWolfe (Richard) and the late Robbie Irwin. Step father of Ken and his wife Bev. Predeceased by step daughter Cathy Slade. Cherished grandfather and great father to numerous grandchildren. Choppie is predeceased by his siblings Beatrice Chase, Phyllis Russell, Doug, Ronald and Keith Irwin. Dear brother in law of Mickie Irwin. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from our chapel on Friday October 21 at 11:00 am followed by cremation. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Chrons and Colitis Canada would be appreciated by the family.
