I enjoyed Pat tremendously. She brought her acerbic wit and extensive knowledge to every session of our Knitwits group and to our Lansdowne Book Club. Her stories were beautifully told and usually had us in stitches. Every Christmas she shared a plate of her delicious home baked treats with us and her bread was not to be missed. I looked forward to seeing the brooch she'd selected for the day, be it a special occasion pin, cats (a favourite) or a beautiful piece of art. Pat was a good, positive force for our community. She loved life and I will miss her very much.

John and I were so saddened to have lost such a dear friend. Pat was a lovely person who, among many interests, had a passionate love for books and libraries. Her love for language was very evident. We had many special walks together over the years with lively conversation. A wonderful person with a great sense of humour, she will be greatly missed by so many in so many ways. It was truly an honour to have known her and I am so glad I did.

I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Pat. I had the pleasure of knowing her from the library, where I work and she often frequented. Pat was a lovely woman and great supporter of the library and its staff. My sincere condolences to her family. Pat will be dearly missed.

I am saddened by the news of my dear friend Pat’s passing. We met when I began teaching at Tecumseh Senior Public School in Scarborough in 1971. Our friendship grew over the years as we kept in contact at our June picnics, by sharing information by email, and by sending post cards from our travels.
Rest In Peace my friend.

Pat's passing is heartbreaking. My sincere condolences go to Pat's family. The Tecumseh BBQ group has been friends for over 50 years and we still kept in touch on a regular basis. Unfortunately, covid has prevented us from holding our annual get together in the last couple of years, but it did not diminish our friendship. Pat's dear friend, Nancy Kingston, also passed the day after Pat. Neil and Sue and I will remember and miss both of them dearly.

I am deeply saddened by Pat's passing. She and I shared a history of breast cancer from years ago. She struggled with a second round and happily rang the bell to finish that treatment. Ironically I have been waiting to hear from her to support this year's Terry Fox Run event. Pat accomplished so much and touched so many people, she will be greatly missed.

I was so sorry to learn of Pat’s passing. She was funny, witty and sometimes acerbic, but always helpful and hardworking. She was such an active member of the Horticultural Society, and a wonderful gardener. Her petunias were always stunning. She will be greatly missed.

Pat was an avid swimmer in Charleston Lake. Many afternoons Pat would swim by with a huge smile. One afternoon I was standing on the swim ladder trying to get in the water , Pat was cruising by and said just jump in don’t be a wuss I think that was Pats credo “just jump in”
Rest In Peace Pat

Dear John and Jim and entire family,
Chris and I were shocked to learn of Pat's passing and wish to extend our most sincere condolences to all of you.
I had known Pat since childhood and enjoyed our chats at various stores when we'd see each other. Chris has many fond memories of sharing chats and laughter with Pat at their book club and exercise classes.
We will certainly miss her.
Sincerely,
