Bruder: Lucas (Luke) Joseph

We sadly announce the passing of our beloved son Luke at the Toronto General Hospital on Sunday September 18, 2022 at the age of 15 after an extended stay at Kidd 2 ICU.

Luke will always be in the hearts of his loving parents Chris and Michelle as well as his three brothers Matt, Ben and Josh. He is the cherished grandson of Karen Bruder. Luke is predeceased by grandparents Bill Bruder and Don and Dina Rider. He will be sadly missed by his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Those who knew Luke will remember his passion for all sports including hockey, football and soccer. In his younger years, Luke was always the entertainment in the stands with his dance moves and cheeky smile. His kind and gentle demeanour was present for all to see and he always brought a smile to your face. We love you Luke and will carry you in our hearts forever.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful, caring doctors, nurses and staff of Kidd 2 ICU for their commitment to Luke during his time there.The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Thursday September 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held from St. John the Evangelist Church on Friday September 30 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Kidd 2 ICU would be greatly appreciated by the family.
