Obituary of Fay Della Jones

Jones: Fay Della

Peacefully at Carveth Care Centre on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the age of 77. 

Fay was born on August 17^th, 1944, to parents Lorne and Gertrude Fischer in Moor Lake, ON.  Beloved wife of the late Ralph Jones, they made Gananoque their home when they married in 1963. Survived by her loving children Tracey-Ann (Robin) Cooper and Troy (Donna) Jones.  Predeceased by son Todd. Fondly remembered by Robin Lappan.  Fay leaves behind grandchildren Mellissa (Aaron), Lacey (Scott), Elizabeth, Carolyn and 5 great grandchildren. 

Dear sister of Sister Jane Fischer (CSJ) and Marjorie (Roger) Pleau. Predeceased by brothers Edmund (Margaret), Ezra, Wesley, Stanley (Joyce) and Clayton (Cindy) Fischer and by sisters Mazie (the late Mike) Blimkie, Dorothy (the late Martin) Miller, Violet (the late John) Gaudette, Kathleen (the late Ivan) Duchene, Edith (Jimmy) King and June (Christopher) Meilleur. An amazing homemaker, talented crafter, fierce Yahtzee competitor, and bingo champion, Fay found her greatest joy in caring for others especially the children who came into her life.  Those children and the rest of her family are grateful for the care she received by the staff at Carveth. Respecting Fay’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Graveside Service will take place at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
