I read your story Patsy , it was very touching to my heart . She was a very loved and a person so full of love for everyone and everything , she never held a grudge . This woman saved me from a bad marrage and life , she showed me love and compashion , it will be 3 yrs since she saved me and we started to share a life together , I love her with all my heart , I told her I will love her to the end as she did me , I stayed countless night's in hospital at her side , Dr. app. and up to the end , she was in my arms at the end , my final farwell was when she passed , I kissed her and told her I loved her , she opened her eyes and whispered she loved he then she was gone .... we was to be married , but the lord took her before we could , she will always be my wife in my heart .... I love you April , and yes you had your " SECOND CHANCE RANCH " you saved me and touched so many hearts .... I love you .. Terry Trousdale ( PA PA T )

Not long ago I talked to April on the phone, she said she would like to have been able to open up a place for offenders. A big farm or something where the people themselves would work on it to fix it up. She also told me that she would be there for me if I needed to talk about my grieving with my mom and sister. I told her she had alot on her plate right now, she said thats what I do. I talk to people and try to help them. God Bless you April, you were an angel in disquise. love you cousin and God bless you, my aunt Mary, Pappa T and family. My consolidances go out to you all.

April fought a long, hard battle to beat the disease that finally took her life. She was a strong, kind, caring person who thought of others before herself. She leaves behind her Mother (Mary); her new love (Terry); two sons Christopher & Paul; Daughter-in-law Vicki and two Grandchildren Izzy & Jamieson, whom she loved so very much. My heart goes out to Christopher & Paul, my Godchildren, who had to lose both their Mother and Father at such a young age. We love you April, you will always be in our hearts.
