For years, along with other friends from Howe Island, I have joyfully played golf with June and Rosie in the 9-Hole Ladies Twilight League. June was our linchpin, the booker of our Tee times and the ever affable organizer. The golf was always secondary to the socializing! Rosie and June talked non-stop up and down the fairways.
