Dear Judy I was saddened to read that Joe had passed away. I have good memories of Joe when we were in High School and rode on the same bus. Later in life, I was always glad to run into you and Joe and have a nice chat. Please accept my sincere condolences at this time of sadness and reflection.

Judy, Jeffrey, Julie, Nolan and Sara: Joe was a special person who will be greatly missed, not only by you, but by his siblings, their spouses and children. As an outgoing and caring member of his community he has been known and respected by many.
Joe, as one of my older brothers, influenced me greatly. He was always positive and encouraging. He demonstrated remarkable skills: always wanting to know how everything was constructed ( the Engineer); how things worked ( the analyzer); and how things could be improved ( the inventor). Sandra and I always enjoyed his smile and happy disposition while he stayed at our home many years ago and at family gatherings. Our entire family extend our condolences to Joe’s family members. Joe lives on through his family and through his contributions to our society.

Joe didn't "work" at Graphic Controls, Joe Mike Aurey & Steve built that place. As a 21 year old kid that started there in 1978 l was in awe of the talents of that group. Joe and Mike could design and figure out anything, Aurey and Steve could build it.

How very sad I am to learn of Joe’s passing. May he Rest In Peace. My first recollection of Joe was when Jim came to Ganananoque for an interview with Joe for a position at Graphic Controls. With a case of beer on Joe’s boat, on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the interview was conducted and Jim got the job. Two weeks later, our family moved to Gananoque! Judy and Joe were the first people we met and made us feel so welcome…we knew nobody! Joe had no idea the wonderful impact he had on our lives. I have thanked him many times. Judy, you had an incredible man to share this journey of life. To you and the rest of your family, I share in your sorrow and will keep you close in my heart and prayers. Lynn (Pettit) Jones.
