I can’t believe you’re gone. Sundays won’t be the same going forward. Dad would get comfy on the couch with my heated throw and his little dog Mia and request all his favourite tunes I will cherish the memories forever. You’re with my favourite Aunt Carol now and I’m sure you’re both reminiscing and having some laughs! Till we meet again xxoo

Our trips to Gananoque over the years have always been happy ones. Unfortunately, our last few trips have been with heavy hearts. This one is no exception. Uncle Tom was very much loved and one of my favorite uncles! My brother and I once took him to school for show-and-tell and he happy obliged wearing his uniform. We were always fascinated by his stories, as were my classmates that day. Larry, my daughters and I all wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Aunt Shelia and the family.

Uncle Tom Petch was one of my favorite uncles. His law enforcement stories captivated me throughout my life. He was fun to spend time with. My late mother and his older sister Carol Thorburn, loved to travel with him and Aunt Sheila, especially in the Maritimes.
My wife Tracey and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to Aunt Sheila and all the family. He will be missed. Rest in peace Uncle Tom. We love you.

Doris and I send our condolences to Tom's family. I first met Tom in the late "60's when he was stationed in Jacquet River, NB and I was accompanying members from Bathurst Detachment to help quell a community disturbance in Lorne settlement. Tom was familiar with the area and the people, thus peace was restored without any incidents, further damage or injuries. I was pleased to meet him at a Kingston Vets gathering in recent years.

Most sincere condolences to Tom’s family. When I first arrived in Moncton in June 1973, Tom helped me find a place to live for a few weeks, walking distance to the office, until I eventually purchased a home and got married. I was very grateful for his help.
