Please know you are in our thoughts and we hope that in time, when something summons a memory of your lovely Dad, it will bring with it a smile.

To the Huff Trio,
In remembering your dad I’m reminded of the joy he brought me in my youth. His artistry, hard work, love of family & true creativity has left a legacy of so many happy memories for so many. That EPIC toboggan run; the sleep overs in the tent trailer & amazing tree fort; snowmobiling; the daring-do mini-bike; skating on the river; the Christmas tree bonfires; the GOAT cinnamon sticky buns; green spaghetti….& more. His hand touched all of that & in doing so spread so much kindness & happiness. The world could use more men like Dr Huffman.

Dear Kim, Michelle and Cameron,
My sincere condolences. Your Dad was a wonderful man and an Uncle I admired and loved very much. I fondly remember the life-long love he shared with my Mom, Uncle Ralph and Chris. And of course I'll never forget how he adored Aunt Jeanne.
Makes me smile to think of them all together in the Bright Country.

Kim, Michelle and Cameron,
please know that you do not grieve alone. So many others grieve with you!
Uncle Gerry was such a kind and generous person and his presence will be sorely missed!
As a child I remember looking forward to our “Huff” family reunions! Uncle Gerry and Aunt Jean were such gracious hosts! They provided a place where family could gather and catch up with each other. What a gift!
I am no expert on grief, but, having lost both of my parents now, I can say that my pain is morphing into gratitude for the many ways In which my parents have enriched my life. I smile nor often now when I think of them.
I hope this can happen for you, too. The pain is raw and it takes time. Please know that you are not alone in this journey. You have a faithful creator who holds you and all of us in his loving embrace.

Dear Kim, Michelle and Cameron,
My heartfelt sympathies in the loss of your dear father.
Uncle Gerald is fondly remembered. I treasure the wonderful reunions we had at the most beautiful home/gardens to meet up with cousins, aunts, and uncles…and it was Uncle Gerald and Aunt Jeanne that made that happen. I still hold on to the bright pink hat – “HUFF” that we were all given one year. I know our father had a special relationship with Gerald, having worked side by side for so many years. I often travel by their dental practice in Scarborough, and I smile every time I pass by.
I love looking at the picture of your dad that you posted and seeing him happy in his garden.
I hope your fond memories of your dad will bring you comfort, during this time of grief.
Sheila
