I have known Brian since Queen Mary Public School , an early grade ; 2 , maybe 3.
The thing that cemented the relationship came much later , motorcycles, proximity and
an uncommonly dry sense of humor., We both came to live in Kingston . Motorcycle activities kept us
in contact , leading to us both working at the Honda dealership , and then being roommates for a time.
This period of time was punctuated by the protracted battle for the prime TV seat on the sofa between
Brian and my evil Irish Setter. Things were piled ; blockades were built ; episodes of the "Twilight Zone"
were missed , stuff was nosed onto the floor, long protracted dog sighs of victory were heard.
Many laughs were had , and I believe , he actually came to like her , but never gave up the struggle for
the sofa seat .
Life shifted us farther apart and contact became more encounter , often at the grocery store ,banter and laughter
remained , and the knowledge that those meetings will no longer occur and that he will no longer be
in all of our lives makes me sad.
Our sincere condolences to Bonnie , Sheila , Joe and all the others who miss him.

I first met Brian up at the cottage on Clear lake at Arden and that was a life time ago. We hit it off instantly. His move to Kingston from Peterborough only made things worse!!
Brian and I worked together at Kingston Cable TV, then Atlantic Audio-video and finally spent a few years installing and servicing Satellite systems. I think we spent more time laughing during those years than anything else and looking back over those times forces me to admit that he was the funnier of the two.
I haven't seen Brian for a very long time. Life is like that. People who are so important to you at one time fade away during the passing years and become "remember when's" . But I will always remember the laughter, the adventures and the friendship. Now that Brian has passed away, I realize that I miss him and always have.
