When we moved next door to Stan and Bessie our lives changed forever. That first winter brought us the ice storm and we had no heat. Stan and Bessie had us in for coffee and warmth by the fireplace. We never looked back. We spent time together constantly and laughed so much.
After Bessie passed, things changed, but not our closeness and love for the man who always had a trick to play, a story to tell, and a true kindness that is a rarity in this world.
Fortune smiled upon us to be able to share part of Stan's life and we will miss him.
John and Connie

Tom and I would like to extend our greatest sympathy to the family. Stan will be missed as he was one of the more kinder and gentler men that I have known.
On a personal note, Stan, Bessie and I use to laugh about how Jason tried to make his hair look like Stan's when he was a little boy because Stan's hair was "cool".
