Clyde was so generous with his time and personal resources! Teaching survival winter camping skills to kids in the Boy Scouts, taking visitors out on the boat, being there for his nieces and nephews after they had lost their parent. He never mentioned how much energy and money things costs, thinking only of the needs and wants of others. His dogs were definitely his loving companions, and his love for his wife was unshakable, right from the beginning. His voice was deep and booming but I never heard him raise his voice in anger. He was so proud of his sons, boasting about their achievements throughout their lives. Clyde exemplified what it means to be a soldier, husband, family man, friend and member of the community. I am sure you are catching up with your mom, sisters and cousins right now. I will always think of you when I hear the phrase “you turn around and…”. Rest in bliss, James Clyde. Love, Susan Gorham
