Obituary of Harry Lawson

Lawson: Harry (Past Master of Leeds Masonic Lodge #201) Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital after a courageous fight, with family by his side on Wednesday January 9, 2008. Harry Lawson beloved husband and best friend of 39 years to Barb French. Loving father of Leanne Huffman and her husband George, and Angela Lawson. Cherished Poppa of Abby and James. Dear brother of Linda Portwine. Uncle of Shari and Krysten. Brother in law of Susan Rutherford, Eric French and James Renauld. Fondly remembered by extended family members, long-time friends, neighbors, and his dog Duchess. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home 63 Garden Street Gananoque on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held from Grace United Church on Saturday January 12 at 10:00 am. Interment Gananoque Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the KGH Cancer Centre "Stem Cell Unit" would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses from the Cancer Clinic, ECU, and Homecare for their compassionate care.
