TREANOR, Nicholas Haynes In his 90th year, peacefully, at home with his treasured collection. Born February 26, 1931 in New York City, the son of Nicholas James Treanor and Amy Catherine (née Haynes), Nick was raised on the Haynes family farm at Pelham & Effingham roads and spent most of his life in the St Catharines area until moving to Gananoque in late 2018. Survived by his five children, Shannon, Tara, Nicholas (Lisa), Zachary (Shannon) and Bebhinn (Mikko), his sister Amy Lou Jerreat, brother George Treanor, grandchildren Becca (Aidan), Madeline & Finn Long, Cameron & Roan Treanor and Charles & Zachary Treanor and two great-grandchildren, Ella & Oren Baker. Fondly remembered by nieces Sue & Jerri, many grand nieces and nephews, and dear friends in the St Catharines arts community. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Niagara Artists Centre (nac.org) or the Society of St Vincent de Paul. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 30 from 2-4 pm. Due to the COVID restrictions, please call the Funeral Home at 613-382-3088 if you would like to attend the visitation as there is a limit to how many people can be in the building at a time.
