To Michael and family, I was saddened to learn of Jack’s passing. We were great friends in Montreal back in the 70’s and 80’s where we played hockey together for the West Lake Old Jocks. Many Monday nights we were travel mates out to Sté. Anne de Bellvieu and shared stories of our business careers and family. Jack always had a smile, a kind word and had a great sense of humour. He was a true gentleman and I considered him a good friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and family during this difficult time.
Sincerely
John and Lynne Jackson

Walter Rowcliffe posted a condolence

Michael my name is Walter Rowcliffe and I am the Chairperson for the Wardens at Corpus Christi Parish in Senneville.
Your Dad was very generous in supporting our Parish.
The Wardens, Fr. Stephen and our Parishioners will be forever grateful.
As you know, Ed Patenaude and I had the good fortune to golf with your Dad at Smugglers Glen on a few occasions, as well as dinner afterwards at his favorite restaurant on the Parkway.
Ed and your Dad being long time friends enjoyed reminiscing about old times.
We will be celebrating a Mass for your Dad's intention in the next 2 months.
On behalf of Ed myself and our Family, please accept our sincere condolences.
Regards
Walter

I would like to speak on behalf of the board and staff of the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation when I offer you our condolences for the loss of your father and grandfather, Jack Keyes. Jack was a great friend of the Foundation and his friendship will be greatly missed. Jack would often call the Foundation Office, even while in Florida, to catch-up on Foundation news and we will miss those warm conversations. Over the years, Jack made many generous donations to improve care at Brockville General Hospital. Our thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Rest In Peace Jack. I had the pleasure to know you, if only for a brief few years. Your love of family and community was inspiring. Your generosity did not go unnoticed even if you wanted it to.
To your family, take solace knowing Jack was one of a kind. He not only talked the talk, he walked the walk.
Safe travels on your next journey Jack
