Obituary of Jim Brown

BROWN, James Frederick “Jim” Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday September 30th, 2020 at the age of 62. Loving father of Mike Brown and Katie Thibaudeau (Zack). Proud Poppa of his little princess Adalynn. Son of Monica and the late Fred Brown. Sadly missed by his siblings Bill, Bob (Carol Ann), Carol (Jeff), Karen (Chris), Tom (Annette) and Dave (Jennifer). Jim will be fondly remembered by his extended family and many close friends. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of St. Elizabeth’s for their tremendous care in Jim’s final days. Jim will always be remembered for his love of golf, the St.Lawrence River and the Montreal Canadiens. Friends will be received at the Tompkins Funeral Home, Gananoque from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 4th 2020. A private family service will take place with interment at Rockport Cemetery. In memory of Jim, donations to the Gananoque Legion Branch 92 would be appreciated by the family.
