Vincent: Margaret Jane May 26, 1935 to August 12, 2020 “Into the Great Wide Open” Jane passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Norman Vincent, and dear mother of Kevin (Catherine Arpin), Windsor, Laura (John Muscedere), Kingston, Gregory, Niagara Falls and Timothy, Howe Island. Loving grandmother of Bryan (Alexandra Hamil) and Danielle Muscedere. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Joan Denomme. Jane was predeceased by her parents, Fabian Garragh and Vera (Prior) and her sisters, Patricia and Lois Garragh. Jane was born on Howe Island. She moved to Windsor as a child and continued to spend joyful summers with her extended family on Howe Island. During her training as a registered nurse at Hotel Dieu Hospital she met her husband Norm of 61 years. She enjoyed her careers in nursing and at Veterans Affairs Canada. After retiring, Jane and Norm moved to Howe Island and started the second phase of their life. Jane loved to travel, spending her winters in the Yucatan and visiting Norm’s family in England. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the caregivers at Fox Run Retirement Home where Jane spent the last 8 months receiving excellent care. We would also like to thank the staff at Kingston Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate end-of-life care Mom received in the emergency department and on Connell 3. Donations may be made in memory of Jane to Kingston Health Sciences Centre. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be organized at a later date.
