We are so sorry for your loss. Rick was a great guy that was loved by so many people. He left behind a legacy that most of us will never reach. He loved, cared, was so kind and gentle and drew people to him without even trying. We know how much he will be missed but he left behind a lot of cherished memories that will mean so much in the days and months to come. We know that Rick will rest in peace because he had nothing to feel sorry about leaving this world. He lived a great life and loved all of you with all of his heart. My sincere condolences to Chris, Cara and Brian. I knew that Ricky was gravely ill but when I learned of his passing I was both shocked and horrified.
I first met Ricky in grade one and we were best buddies for years. I remember quite vividly us playing Battleship for hours on end, playing with fire, and generally misbehaving. Ricky would pilfer Players Plain cigarettes from Polly and we would go to Spring Bush to smoke them. We were incorrigible back then and we drove our mothers crazy.
Thank you for the memories Ricky; they will be with me forever.
