Minnie: Robert Elwood “Bob” Peacefully surrounded by family, in his 84th year, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Thursday February 13, 2020. Beloved husband of 61 years to Joan Minnie (nee Perry). Much loved father of Gary Minnie and Steven Minnie and his wife Julia. Cherished grandfather of Alex and Andrew, and great grandfather of Remington. Dear brother of Barbara McConnell. Predeceased by 2 sisters Madeline Casey and Viola Storring. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-8 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at Pinegrove Community Church on Wednesday February 19 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Pinegrove Community Church or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
