Thinking of all of you as the one year anniversary approaches....hard to believe a year has passed since you lost your mother, nanny and our aunt. We again are not home but Aunt Mary is always on our minds, we certainly felt a void when we returned home in the spring, we miss her daily telephone calls, visits to her and of course her orders!! I feel her and know she is watching over her family along with everyone else that went before her, it must be quite a party! Your in our hearts and prayers as you go through this difficult anniversary.

My condolences to the O"Hearn family on the passing of your mother. Only a year ago Mrs. O'Hearn recounted a story to me about discovering Danny together with me and some other local kids from the 1960's area Church Street who had decided to collect cigarette butts and smoke them out in the garage behind the big home. We had a good laugh as she recalled the look of terror on our faces when she caught us!!

The O'Heare family: My condolences on the loss of your mother and grandmother. I cannot make to the funeral as I am working on exams at Carleton but want you to know that I will be praying and thinking of you. Lappin and Mary were a wonderful couple who did so much for so many. They were saints of our time. The care and concern for so many at the home by Mary will not be forgotten. They have left a wonderful legacy for their childen. I have't got the telephone message but think it Chris and I tahnk you for it. I also fondly remeber Frank when he was on the cursillo with hos father in about 1968 and of course Joanne who lived near the farm. I have often thought that we did not spend as much time with you as we should have especially when you husband was in ailing health. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. Frank, Jo-ann, Danny, Chris and family: There are no words that can express our feelings on the loss of our beloved Aunt Mary and your mother. She was like a mother to us and treated us like one of her own. She would scold us right along with you all! Her passing came as a great shock to us and to all of you..we spoke to her on Saturday and she said she was feeling better. We are very sad that we can't be there but just know that you are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through this most difficult time. The loss of ones mother is a very sad time in our lives. Keep strong as she is now with your dad, her parents and brother. They are probably having a drink together to celebrate Mary's homecoming. We are thankful we had the last year with her. We send our love to one and all.
