Obituary of Vern Fielding

Fielding: Vernon James In his 70th year, Vern passed away suddenly at his home on Friday January 24, 2020, leaving behind his beloved wife Shirley Clark of 27 years. Dear brother of Douglas Fielding. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Margaret Fielding, by 1 brother Bill (Susan) and by 1 sister Thelma Dumas (Pat–deceased). Dearest brother in law of Bruce Clark (Lianne) and Allan Clark. Cherished uncle of Sean Fielding (Erin), Ryan Fielding (Gwen), Sean Clark (Jane), Michael Clark (Nicki), Andy Clark (Tricia) and Jeff Code (Nicki) and their families. Vern will be sadly missed by his good friend Don Gow, his numerous friends, river friends and co-workers. A Celebration of Vern's Life will be held at at the Gananoque Curling Club on Saturday February 29 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Gananoque Humane Society or to the Charity of your Choice would be appreciated by the family.
