I had the pleasure of working with Don (Mr. Wilson) at my very first job out of college - TD Bank, International Centre. He was like my office dad. I loved him. I could always count on him to make me laugh. I still have some wooden tulips and a beautiful raccoon ornament he made. They have been with me wherever I go. I often thought of him throughout the years. All of a sudden last night, Don came to my mind and so I came upon his obituary. My sincere condolences to his family. He was a special soul and I was so blessed that our paths crossed in this lifetime. RIP Mr. Wilson. I will see you again one day.

I was looking up your parents and was saddened to hear about your father's passing last year. I remember him well, so kind and friendly and teasing me to no end. I remember he and your mom attending the Neil Diamond concert with my parents and our families got to know each other. I remember hanging at your house on Rouge Hills regularly and greetimg your dad as he arrived home from work. I feel your loss and send you my love and hugs. Please contact me at bmoshaw@gmail.com. Love to you all.

I am glad to have known Donald for as long as I can remember. As a lad growing up in our rural community in the Chateauguay Valley I looked forward to attending dances to listen to the music played by the Wilson Westernaires of which Donald was an important part as the drummer. I also have fond memories of Donald's stops at our farmhouse on Sunday nights to include my sister Dawn as one of his passengers who needed a lift back to the city. He was always so friendly and obliging.
Although our lives took us in different directions over the years, it was always a treat to meet up with Donald back home at social functions and have a good chat.
Please know Dawn, that we are thinking of you and your family at this sad time.
Lyndon and Doreen

Grumpy was an amazing father-in-law and fablous grandpa he was such a caring man who was very passionate about his family, friends and loved life. The grandkids loved riding around Landon's Bay in the golf cart meeting neighborhood friends on the way. No word to explain how much of a loss. Rest in peace Don.

My sincere condolences to the Wilson family. I worked with Don at TD ICT for a number of years. If anyone knew Export Letters of Credit, it was Don. He was a legend in the field but even a better person. I still have many of his woodworking projects that he made for my children who are now in their thirties. Don was always smiling, a legend on our floor. Everyone knew and respected Mr. Wilson.
Great memories of staying at a hotel overnight when we had a bad snowstorm and upper management decided we couldn’t go home. Y2K preparation etc, etc.
Don was always there to give a helping hand to anyone in need of tools, advice or just a friend to talk to.
May you Rest In Peace Don. You will be missed.

Mr. Wilson was such a significant part of my life growing up on Rouge Hills Drive. So many memories: My first skate, on the rink he built in his backyard each winter - sin bin included. My first snowmobile ride, whipping across the abandoned golf course behind our house. And later on, my first job with a tie, that he got for me at TD International...memories of riding in on the GO Train with Don's Angels. ("Don't be late, my truck doesn't wait.")
This barely scratches the surface. He was such a kind and generous person. He treated Drew, Mat and me like we were his own. He was someone we looked up to and respected, and yet he still seemed like a big kid who was just fun to hang out with.
To Mrs. Wilson, Brent and Craig, and your families: I hope you are finding some comfort in your own fond memories and those shared by others.
Take care,
Steve, Melissa and Ben
