Dad I was so blessed to have you in my life. You were loving and caring person and I will always be proud to be your daughter. I was so lucky to travel 9 times to see you, and always too long my husband said. We had so many trips together, first class on the rocky mountaineer, that long bus trip all the way to PEI. Trips to Toronto to see Darlene. We went to Niagara 3 times. Once with my family. We went all the way to Simcoe to see Mikal and Youngsue and Noah. We also got to see Mikal jr and Taige. I had last seen them when they stayed with me in Australia. We played endless games of cards, and you shared so many stories about your family and youth. I cherish the times we had and am blessed to have had 15 years with you. Love you too much.

Well Uncle Bill it's hard to believe you are gone, I am going to miss having your smiling face at our dinner table during the holidays, while we shared good memories and laughs, will miss hearing you and mom playing cribbage and her complaining how you always win, will miss all of your stories about when you were a young lad, will miss seeing how happy you were when Marlena came for her visits with you. RIP uncle bill, til we meet again. Love your niece Barb and family

Dear grandpa,
Although we lived in different countries I still feel very blessed that we were able to meet. I'm glad that you and mum got to spend the last 12 or so years back in touch.
I'll never forget the smile on mum face when Darlene found you, and I'll never forget how quick mum left Australia to see you!
We were even lucky enough for you to come to Australia and see where I have grown up. Although you did get a shock from the heat wave we had!! We still had fun while you were here.
We will miss you and I'm sure my mum will miss you the most, I feel lucky to have your name as my middle name so I won't forget you.
May you rest in peace. Love Jamie.

Dear Dad,
we didn't have much time to create memories, but those that we did I have and will always cherish.
Going down to the park in Kingston to feed the duck the dried noodles from our Chinese takeaway which none of us liked but the ducks loved them.. hahaha.
Going to work with you on weekends and playing in the shed or falling out of the truck on our way home, which Mary Ellen wasn't to impressed with. Hahaha.
Playing races in the back yard at your home in Kingston and you and Mary Ellen always let Marlene and me win.
Letting me sit on your lap while I steered the car and almost driving into the curb. Again Mary Ellen wasn't very impressed with either. hahaha.
And sitting in amazement listening to you play the violin.
So rest in eternal piece Dad. Love always your proud son Robert William Marshall, your daughter In-law Nerilee, your grandchildren Scott, Tara and Kysha and your 5 x Great Grandchildren, Annie, Kingston, Mateo, Siena and Alesio.
This photo was from the last time we met in February 2006. xxxxxx

So sad I didn't get to see you before you left us. I have been in the hospital and they wouldn't let me go. You were my favorite brother. We had so many good times together. I am going to continue to play the violin in your memory. It breaks my heart that I will never get to see you again. Loved you too much.

I have loved getting to know you again. We've had almost 15 years of love and laughter. I am going to miss talking to you almost every day, even though you told me the same stories over and over. I am going to miss visiting you and playing endless card games. RIP dad, go with God. Let the music play on
