Thank you Dad for all the things you did for me.
You taught me how to repair a flat tire when i was very young. This lesson helped to empowered me to become independent in many other en devours.
When I was young i helped him build a stone wall and later he laid some bricks at my first home. These simple acts encouraged me to become a contractor. Dad i loved your sense of humor. I felt so sad to see you suffer the last 6 months of you life. I know that you are free now. Free from pain and free from suffering. You are the most important man in my life. You will never be forgotten.

Today I deeply mourn the passing of a wonderful, soft spoken, loving, kind, funny gentleman, who loved his wife Gerdi and their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. Your time on earth was fulfilled and it seemed as if you waited for your baby girl Annette to come home and tell you it was ok for you to now enter The Kingdom of God. Your family, friends and Church Family at Pine Grove Free Methodist Community Church will miss you immensely. I really enjoyed the time spent with Gerdi, when I would drive her to Providence Care on Saturdays to see you and even my 3 little grandchildren had the opportunity to visit you in hospital and built a relationship with you - you always wanted to kiss their little hands each time. They asked many times how you were doing and were sad when you were moved to Carveth Care Centre. I hope that you and Willie are up in Heaven now playing and singing those German tunes and Country tunes you both so enjoyed. Spread Those Wings Boys
