I wish to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom, daughter, sister and friend. I worked with Ann on Kidd 7 and will always carry fond memories or her. I used to work with Ann on Kidd 7. She was fun, a good nurse and there was always an adventure when Ann was on. I felt like I knew John from how much she talked about him. My oldest son wasn't a good sleeper, and Ann crocheted a small pillow for him and filled it with lavender she had grown to help him sleep better. She was always willing to help someone out , never asking for anything in return. She would come on for a 3 to 11 shift with an egg salad sandwich and a diet coke in hand!! I have only the fondest memories of Ann. My life is a better from having known Ann, and the world darker with her passing. Please accept my deepest condolences, Jodi Fredenburgh

Dear Ruth and Family----Words are not easy to come by but they come from the heart...It broke for you Ruthy when I heard about the loss of your daughter. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ann. I met Ann almost a year ago when I started volunteering at St. Mary's. I would stop in on Wednesday evenings to visit her. Although Ann couldn't talk to me, we did communicate through her computer and I got a sense of her warmth and sense of humour. She lit up like a Christmas tree when we talked about her son. Ann's smile was what I looked forward to each week. I could tell how well loved and looked after Ann was. She always had a beautiful blanket on her bed, pictures surrounding her and lately a gorgeous tree in her room. I did not know Ann for long or very well but she touched my heart very deeply and I will forever remember her. Sincerely, Elaine

Ruth,John, Kathie & Bill In my mind I can see Ann in heaven free from a body that was so ill. The last years have been such a journey for Ann but she is now at peace.
