R.I.P. stephen... we loved you dearly and you will always remain in our hearts. It was too soon to say good-bye to such a kind and wonderful person. My kids loved their uncle Steve and can share many laughs with him included. We will cherish such memories for years to come. Please everyone, do an "act of kindness" in Stephen's memory ... lets share in his gentle spirit....
Sheila you ARE a saint. You have such patience and understanding for everyone. I watched you for years protect the very ground "pappy" walked on. I witnessed many many acts of kindness towards your husband from you. He was good with Sabrina too!! Oh my goodness Stephen.. we LOVE you and will MISS you!!

I met Pappy as many others at the Legion or the Pro. Playing darts with Bill and Dickie. Many tournaments, saturday afternoon legion darts, and nights in the basement practising both drinking while playing darts. Sheila was a saint putting up with us over the years, joining in sometimes and other times making sure Pappy got up for the next days shenanigans. Sabrina and Sheila you are in my thoughts and prayers in these days of your loss.

I met Pappy about 31 years ago when I moved to Gan and started playing darts with him and his brother Bill. One evening I was at the Legion bar by myself and Pappy came in wearing his blue coveralls from Stelco. We sat and had a chat (probably about the awesome Bruins). I think I had two pints and Pappy had 6! About 30 min go by and Pappy gets up to leave. I said “nice ending to the day.” He says chuckling, “that was my supper!” I’ll never forget that as long as I live.
Pappy was a very generous and kind man who always treated me and my family with respect. I know from talking to many other people that he was the hardest working man anyone knew.
Rest In Peace Pappy.
