Passed away peacefully, at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Sunday June 16, 2019 in her 76^th year. Beverly Cross (nee Berry), much loved wife of 59 years to Alvohn (Bo) Cross. Loving mother of Doug Cross and his wife Cindy and Lisa Slack and her husband Bob. Predeceased by her son Randy and daughter Jo Anne. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Cross (Steve), Rebecca Cross and Greg Slack. Loving great grandmother of Miles, Shaye and Tyson Landry. Dear sister of Diane Mumford (Bill). Predeceased by her parents George and Reta Berry. After raising her family, she attended St. Lawrence College and graduated as a Health Care Aide. She retired from the Red Cross in 1998. She was a talented scenery artist, enjoyed home decorating, never missed a day without doing a word search and crossword puzzles, travelling throughout Canada, being a member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, and caring for her family. It didn’t matter who you were, if you were at the house; a place was set for you at the supper table. Her advice to her Children...”Always do your best; and if there is something you want to do, do it”. A Celebration of Bev’s Life will be held on Saturday June 29^th at 11:00 am from the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church Gananoque with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the UHKF Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
