Passed away at the Waterford Kingston Retirement Residence on Wednesday May 15, 2019 in her 85^th year. Joan Niles (nee Gingrich), beloved wife of 63 years to Wally Niles. Much loved mother of Jim (Cyndy), Barry (Laura) and Wally (Michelle). Cherished grandmother of Mitchell (Aylcia), Emily, Christopher, Scott and Dan. Great grandmother of James. Predeceased by her parents James and Kathleen Gingrich and by her 2 brothers Douglas and William Gingrich. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Tompkins Funeral Home on Friday May 24, from 10:00 – 12:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Gananoque Curling Club after from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer`s Society would be appreciated by the family.
