Lambo: Mary Bernice

October 10, 1926 – May 7, 2019

 

Our beautiful, wonderful, caring mother has passed away. Loved daughter of the late William Turcotte and Urieth Smith. Loving mother to Paulette, Paul (Veronica), Brian and Gary. Sister to Fred, Wilma, Betty and Bob and the late Jim and Agnes. Grandmother to 2 and great grandmother to 3. After 26 years of nursing at the Brockville Psychiatric Hospital she fulfilled her promise to God and worked as a missionary at the Catholic Mission in Chesterfield Inlet, NWT for 6 years returning to Gananoque then Kingston. She was smart, kind, generous, funny and loved to laugh. Her faith, strength and determination allowed her to raise 4 children and cope with her health problems in her later years. She loved and gave her life to her children. Special thanks to Dr. Marian Luka, Dr. Gregory Patey, Dr. Timothy Owen, Dr. Genevieve Digby, S.E. Lin Jennifer Bedard. The kind caring staff at the KGH, HDH, St. Elizabeth’s (Sharon), Kaymar and Providence Care Hospital. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the UHKF to support these wonderful people would be greatly appreciated by the family. A private burial has taken place.
