She was a Charter Member of the Gananoque Branch of the Kingston General Hospital Auxiliary having taken a leadership role in the fundraising efforts in helping to raise funds for specialized equipment for the KGH. Helen's family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful care provided by the KGH doctors, nurses and associated staff with special thanks to Dr. Belliveau and his surgical team. Our gratitude is also extended to the staff and residents at the Carveth Lodge in Gananoque for their care and friendship. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday October 29, 2011 at Christ Church, Gananoque with a reception for family and friends to follow at the Gananoque Curling Club.
