Peacefully at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday April 2, 2019 in his 67^th year. Howard Standen, beloved husband of 45 years to Jane Standen (nee Cunningham). Much loved father of Jeff (Jennifer), Kerri (Roger) and Viki (Nathan). Cherished grandfather of Emily, Sara, Matthew, Mackailah, Katalin, Natalin and Maxamus. Dear brother of Malcolm, Earl and Floyd Standen and Janice Turgeon. Predeceased by 1 sister Myrna Steary, by 1 brother Lloyd Standen, by 1 grandson Zack and his parents Alfred and Mabel Standen. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law. A Celebration of Howard’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br# 92 on Saturday April 13 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Renal Unit) would be appreciated by the family.
