So sorry to hear of David's passing! We spent a lot of time together when we were teenagers and always got along whether at Cunningham's bakery or at the cottage or just hanging out! We hadn't seen each other in years but I thought about him often. He was a good friend.

Always a man that was happy to see you and loved a chat, a story, game of cards, a laugh and an 11pm bbq if you were able to stick around long enough.
If you were Doug's friend you were also David's friend, it was that simple. He enjoyed playing pool with us as much as he enjoyed kicking our butts which happened more than not.
Never wore a toque that covered his ears or shorts that covered his rear end but was always wearing smile. A 1000 great memories, some more clear than others and lucky to have each one. An amazing dad, husband and friend to everyone.
Deepest condolences to Debbie, Tina, Doug, Mike, Kim and all the grandkids.
Love the Osmonds

Debbie, Tina, Doug and family - So very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. As neighbours for 40 years, I have many fond memories of Dave - probably the ones that come to mind right away are the ones of him sitting out front soaking up the sunshine getting browner by the day! I will miss him as a neighbour, but mostly as a friend and a truly great guy.

Awww Lloydy....you have not left my thoughts since I heard the sad news. I keep replaying all the good times in my head Lloydy. The C.C.R. is cranked up loud ..."Left a good job in the city"....and we are all "Rollin' on the river". I will never forget your big heart and that great big smile. A laugh and a story for everyone you met. Thanks for the memories Lloydy: The Sun, The River, The Point, Boat trips to Potter's & Rockapulco, Smokey resting in your backyard, Barkie, Barkie's couch, Dougie & all the dogs, Dogs rolling in dead fish, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The "Fuzzy Navel Night", Poems clothespinned to the backdoor, Broken lawnchairs that were not quite Lloydy proof, Torn fluorescent orange shorts with your tanned butt sticking out, The infamous "Tuber" that was thrown out of the cottage one fateful night & landed on neighbour's clothesline, Jay playing in the dirt under your hammock as you lounged in the sun, Strawberry Socials, Cocktail hours, The kids braiding your ponytail, You & Deb doing our laundry in the ice storm, Blanchie's visits to the cottage, Debbie, Dougie & Tina. Thanks for being such a great friend & neighbour Lloydy. You will be so greatly missed.
To Debbie, Tina, Dougie & families my deepest sympathies. May your loving memories of a special husband, father & grandfather comfort you now in your grief. Lloydy was truly one in a million. Love, Marilee xo
