Passed away peacefully with family by his side, at the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday February 13, 2019. Beloved husband of 58 years to Elisabeth. Much loved father of Gerhard (Corinne) of Gananoque, René (Lara) of Australia, Martin of Halifax N.S and Erika Hockey (Todd) of Kemptville. Cherished grandfather of Alek (Marije), Devin, Emily, Alannah, Max and Jasmine. Great grandfather of Cyrus. Dear brother of Lotte Müller (Herbert) of Germany. Brother in law of Gerda Nollenberger, Erwin Nollenberger (Ute), and Martha Gurski (Hans). Predeceased by daughter in law Shawna Wendt-Veinotte and by brother in law Wolfgang Nollenberger. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Gananoque Legion on Saturday July 13 from 1:00 - 3:30 PM. Jim will be remembered for his love of the great outdoors and fishing. As expressions of sympathy donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
